On the afternoon of September 6th, at the VNU University of Engineering and Technology, GEM Corporation and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IAI) held the signing ceremony for their bilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The MoU marks a new milestone in the fruitful cooperation between the two sides, which is formed upon the recognition of artificial intelligence (AI)’s enormous impacts. GEM and IAI have been involved in various collaborative research and development activities, the outcomes of which prove to be highly meaningful. Many of IAI’s initiatives have been adopted by GEM and actively contributed to addressing our clients’ challenges.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Tran Quoc Long – Director of IAI, expressed his confidence in their cooperation with GEM. Noting the excellent potential and dynamic working environment provided by GEM, he believes that GEM will be able to deliver wonderful development opportunities for IAI’s students.
In response, Ngo Khanh Hoang – CEO of GEM Corporation – shared that he was extremely pleased to see the bilateral cooperation relationship being formalized. “GEM receives from the IAI and the university considerable support relating to research and development. In addition, they grant us access to a young and dynamic talent pool. Today’s agreement will encourage the two sides to expand their joint efforts.”
In addition, to mark this important milestone, GEM announced that they would donate 10 million VND to the AI Institute’s library development fund. This serves as the first of many upcoming joint efforts relating to both research and development and career orientation for IAI’s students.
With the MoU as the official acknowledgment of GEM x IAI cooperation, it is expected that both sides will accelerate their collaborative activities in both scale and depth. Hopefully, in the near future, the cooperative relationship between GEM and IAI will continue to thrive and yield more meaningful AI-powered solutions for the real-life world.
